A TWIST FOR FRIED RICE

By

Making your own recipe is somewhat an achievement for your self especially when you’re actually not good in cooking. For myself, I’m not a professional chef but I just love to cook. Most of my food experiments always happen accidentally, a bit funny. When I’m not satisfied with the result of what I cooked, I always put a twist on it. And I just want to share this experiment that I did a couple of days ago. It was when, I’m supposed to take my breakfast but I noticed that there wasn’t any food to eat. They didn’t left any. All I can see at the dining table is the steamed rice and nothing more. And so, I begin my experiment using steamed rice as the main ingredient. Don’t worry this isn’t as hard as you think! So simple.

Fried Rice with a Spice (I named it)

Ingredients:

2 cups of steamed rice

Salt

cooking oil (any kind)

Fried Pork/Chicken Meat

Onion (bulb and spring)

Garlic

Any Spicy thing (chili powder)

First, heat the frying pan until it’s hot and put the enough cooking oil, then put the properly the minced garlic and onion into the pan and wait until the garlic turns brownish in color. After that, you’re ready to put the steamed rice on it. Make sure to mix it well and have a neutral heat on your pan. After 3-5 minutes of mixing put the chili powder then again mix it. It’s in your hand to decide the amount of chili powder. Then after putting the chili powder, you eventually put the fried pork or chicken meat (properly slice), mix for 1 minute. And finally, your Fried Rice with a Spice is ready!

I suggest to put some extra seasoning that will go with your taste.

I tell you, this tastes good! (laughs)
